Blog Challenge # 5: A picture of a place you went today.
With mom being out of town for the entire week it gave all of us a chance to head out to dinner with dad! We love daddy-daughter(s) dates and always end of laughing our guts out by the end of the night.
Tonight we ventured out to the infamous “Stake and Shake,” at the South Pointe. In times past when we have tried to go there the line is always sooo long! And I mean LONG! Once we finally got seated we spent the night laughing and selecting “our” picks on the parlay cards dad was going to bet. I have good vibes for my two cards!!
The food was a good! Not like I’d like to wait in another hour long line for it but if I happened to be at the South Pointe on a Tuesday night with nothing to do – I’d LOVE to go back. The company on the other hand was worth every penny.
After dinner we got back into the car and headed to dads. We did make a pit stop at the TA (Truck Stop) on Blue Diamond and Dean Martin to get Em some cough drops… Dad followed Emily in which was probably the best decision of the night (next to Missy parking my car so I only had to walk a few hundred feet to the restaurant. Thanks Miss!) Dad came out and made us all promise that we would NEVER go in there alone, EVER. It was full of dirty old TRUCKER men all looking too freshly at Emily. Ewww… shes young enough to be their granddaughter! Freakin’ sick ol’ guys!
The night ended with all four of us sitting in my car for like an hour ~~ prank texting Justin, talking about Missy and Thomas having to clean old lady’s privates, what to do when an old man is feelin' "lucky" while batheing him (when they are CNA’s) singing “Shake that a$$ for me.. girl shake that a$$ for me…” [inside joke] and about peeing our pants when Tucker opened the front door all by himself.
We really had a lot of fun tonight… it was much needed. Not that we don’t always have a great time but somethings things are just a little different when it’s “Daddy-Daughter(s) Dinner/Date night.” [Say that three times fast....]
We did miss Thomas and Mom though! Lots and lots! (We ate some extra French fries for you!)
