First of all, holy cow! I cant even believe that my little
tiny baby is already one month old! Its crazy to think truly how fast time goes….
Everyone tells you and I think sometimes you just kind of say to yourself, “yeah
sure…” or “yeah, yeah everyone says that.”
But, no. SERIOUSLY – so FAST!
At one month Mason:
9.6 lbs and in the 25th percentile
22 1/4 inches long and in the 50th percentile
(I swear hes longer but - well see at next months appointment)
Wearing - Size ONE diapers
Still fits in most of his "newborn" clothes depending on brand
He is soo long and 0-3 month onsies are fitting but a baggy
Good luck with bottoms - poor kid is long enough but his little waist is small for all of his newborn shorts and pants
His eyes are starting to focus
Rolls from his belly to either side; proficiently
Has a scary strong neck already
Enjoys kisses from the puppies
Has baby dandruff {says his daddy}
Loves it when we sing to him but prefers Disney Pandora
Loves his swing
Could take a bath for hours
Melts mommy’s heart with his sweet little grins
Sleeps from 10:30-7:00 {for sure till 4:30 every night but most nights till 7} each night
{and now in his crib}
Doesn’t like when his bum is dirty; I don’t blame him
Needs his feet exposed as often as possible – no swaddling
for this little monkey
Sleeps like his daddy – arms over the head is the assumed
position
Has gone on one road trip and visited Utah
LOVES being outside
Likes his "bink" at bed time
Choo's and makes all kinds of different noises
Has to have his hair brushed (yes, with a brush)
Mason, we love you! And are excited that you are growing so big and strong. Can't wait to see all the fun that will come this next month!
