The anticipation is over. The 2011 Dumont Dunes season has arrived! My family left on Friday but the mister and I both had to work on Saturday.
But the second that clock hit 4 -- T and the puppies were ready to go!
We arrived just in time for the blessing on the food!
Good timing huh?
The group dinner this trip was soups and breads! It was super yummy!
After dinner we spent some time hanging around the fire before heading to Comp Hill. Saturday evening at comp consisted of lots of half dresses people, one fatal accident, Ryan, me and "Lola" struggling to make it there AND back, lots of laughs at peoples drunken mistakes and good ol' camp fire conversations.
We slept in a little on Sunday and enjoyed Mom's famous "camping breakfast burritos."
It was so yummy!
Aside for breakfast we didn't really do very much.
Everyone went on a long ride in the morning and Thomas had a bunch of fun!!
It was a super super low key weekend but so nice to start the dune season off on the right foot! The count down to Thanksgiving weekend at Dumont begins ....now!
so sad i wasn't there!
